Santa Maria Chamber of Commerce 2024 Business Expo & Job Fair Recap
In June, JR Bookkeeping proudly participated as an exhibitor at the 2024 Santa Maria Chamber of Commerce Business Expo & Job Fair. The beach-themed event was a hit, and we were thrilled to contribute a generous gift for the raffle. It was an incredible day filled with networking, learning, and celebrating the vibrant local business community.

International Women’s Day Celebration
During this year’s International Women’s Day, our fearless leader Juliana Ramirez went out to support local female entrepreneurs in Santa Barbara at the market! Community support and lifting each other up is what it’s all about. Together, we rise.
Women in Business Event with Women Score Higher Santa Barbara
We were thrilled to be part of the Women in Business event hosted by Women Score Higher Santa Barbara, celebrating amazing local businesses. JR Bookkeeping contributed an Accounting Support Session to the event’s giveaway, alongside fantastic gifts from other incredible entrepreneurs—like a gift basket with strawberry sweet treats from @strweats. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, share our expertise, and support the women in our community. Let’s empower and support one another!
Monthly Webinar with SCORE
JR Bookkeeping has a longstanding partnership with SCORE, and we’re excited to announce that our monthly webinar has now expanded to the district level! Volunteering with Many Mansions
JRB has Volunteered at Many mansions a few times during the course of the last 6 months. Many Mansions is a non-profit organization focused on providing housing and services to individuals experiencing homelessness. From organizing supplies in a closet to preparing 35 apartments for new residents, it’s been an incredibly rewarding experience. We even had the honor of being featured in the Ventura County Star for our efforts.
